ㅁWindows 7 64bit OS Windows Update 실행시 업데이트 오류 발생.
1. Windows 7 64bit OS Windows Update 실패
Windows 7 64bit OS를 최신 Windows Update를 하여 이미지를 만들려고 하였습니다.
최신 업데이트까지 완료된 상황이고 마지막으로 KB915597 업데이트만 남은 상황이었습니다.
하지만 해당 업데이트는 다운로드도 되지 않고 업데이트 실패로 계속 나왔습니다.
재부팅 후 검색 설치 실패 10번 이상을 계속 해봐도 오류가 발생하였습니다.
2. UAC 설정 후 Windows Update 설치
구글에서 검색 하였습니다.
I'm doing a fresh install of WIN7Pro(64 bit) on a bunch of refurb laptops. I run KB3138612 after installing the OS. After running Windows Update several times, I'm down to one update: "Definition Update for Windows Defender Antivirus - KB915597 (Definition 1.283.1.0)" and it fails to install with error code 8050800C.
I tried your batch file:
| Start-All Programs-Accessories, right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator" Click "Yes" on UAC dialog Run batch file (looks like it ran OK) Close command prompt and reboot Run Windows Update |
It still fails with code 8050800C.
What should I try next?
Open up Windows Defender in Control Panel. Check for updates, it will succeed in updating. Go back to Windows Update and check for updates and you should be clear.
현재 상황과 유사한 URL 발견 후 해당 방법으로 시도해 본 결과 업데이트는 동일하게 실패 하였습니다.
재부팅 후에 보면 최신업데이트 상태로 나오지만 업데이트를 검색후에 보면
"Definition Update for Windows Defender Antivirus - KB915597 (Definition 1.283.1.0)" 필수 업데이트 1개씩 계속 나옵니다.
계속 진행해 봐도 동일한 증상으로 업데이트는 실패하였습니다.
구글에서는 도저히 찾을 수 없었습니다.

Automatic updates
To help ensure your antimalware solution detects the latest threats, you should always use the latest definitions. Your antimalware product should be set to automatically get updates. Windows Defender Antivirus gets updates as part of Windows Update. If you are having problems with Windows Update, use the troubleshooter.

Trigger an update
A manually triggered update immediately downloads and applies the latest definitions. This process might also address problems with automatic updates.
Windows Defender Antivirus and other Microsoft antimalware solutions provide a way to manually trigger an update. In Windows 10, select Check for updates in the Windows Defender Security Center Protection updates screen to check for the latest definitions.

Enterprise administrators can also push updates to endpoints in their network. To clear the definitions cache and trigger an update, use a batch script to run the following commands as an administrator:

You can manually download the latest definitions or pre-release definitions.

The links point to an executable file named mpam-fe.exe, mpam-feX64.exe, or mpas-fe.exe (used by older antispyware solutions). Simply launch the file to manually install the latest definitions.

본문 내용중 Windows Defender in Windows 7 and Windows Vista 32-bit | 64-bit 의 64bit를 다운로드 하여 설치를 진행했습니다.
그 후 재부팅 진행 윈도우 업데이트 검색을 하면 해당 업데이트는 설치 되어있기 때문에 아무것도 나오지 않습니다.
Windows Update 완료!!!
이렇게해서 계속해서 업데이트가 안되던 "Definition Update for Windows Defender Antivirus - KB915597 (Definition 1.283.1.0)"를 수동 설치 하여 최신 Windows 7 64bit OS 이미지를 만들 수 있었습니다.
